Here Comes Santa Claus

This is the outside of Santa's house. The first time we went to sit in his lap was during a downtown Christmas party and the line was 50 people deep. I made Iris stand outside and take a picture because I physically can't stand for an hour! She is wearing her favorite skirt (inside out) that was a gift from South Africa.

The next time we visit, we make it inside the house. Notice how she is leaning against the wall. She wouldn't get any closer. She did tell Santa what she wanted, but wouldn't sit in his lap. I was laughing so hard and am sure that didn't help the situation.

Relief, I let let her leave the house! Notice her see through black dance skirt:)

Gobble Gobble

You would think I just ate Thanksgiving dinner with my fat face, but this is a pre-dinner photo. 

We finally got her to take off her Snow White costume (which she had been wearing for 3 days) to wear her turkey dress. She is showing off the turkey.

The day after Thanksgiving we go to the Salida Christmas parade and they light dozens of trees afterwards.

She loved every minute of the parade (except the firework finale, she must get that from Henry the dog)

We have a first big snow! The dogs and Miss Priss are extremely happy. I'm still trying to find all of our hats, gloves, etc.

Labor Day Weekend Camping

She loves the tent and especially jumping on the air mattress (yes, we are car camping, so we bring an air mattress:)
