2 and 36

Happy 36th Birthday Mommy. She loves to say that she is 2 and then looks at me and says 36 (turty ix)

This was the day after we returned from our east coast travel extravaganza.

She's two...

Here are her 2-yr-old stats:
  • Length  34 inches and 52 percentile
  • Weight: 26 lbs 4 oz and 44 percentile
  • You love singing (twinkle twinkle, and ABC song).
  • Will talk/sing for hrs in your crib, when you should be sleeping
  •  You haven't had your passy all weekend. You have been eating and sucking on the monkey that we cut from the pacifer. You went to sleep fine last night with a puzzle but naps have been hard. We just say that we lost the pacifer, but thank goodness you still have monkey:)
  •
  • You love to dance. It doesn't matter if it is a slow or fast song. If it is a slow song, you lean your head to a side and try to dance in circles.
  • You like to act like lion and roar.
  • You like avocados,  cheese, peanuts and peanut butter, pizza and you still drink 3 cups of goats milk a day (you have never really been sick or on antibiotics and I think it is b/c of the goats milk).

Fall Camping Weekend

Here we are. Some old people asked if we wanted our picture taken. There is a waterfall in background.

Beautiful fall day. Look at Parsons.

We could walk to the waterfalls (and go behind them:) , this ampitheater, go on a loop hike, and see caves from our campsite. Rifle Falls is probably our favorite state park.

There are the 3 waterfalls

On her first "official" hike. She never stopped or really stalled. In fact, she was exceptionally good.

Birthday #2~Round 1, Round 2 to come later..........

On way to Mickey D's

My very first happy meal at McDonalds. She ate every single bite. Not all at once, but we left it out on the table and by the end there was nothing. Not even a french fry crumb.

Don't touch my cupcake

You are funny Granddan

Come on daddy, don't you think I'm funny??

County Fair 2013

We took her to the fair at the end of the summer. She loved it. However, she was eating these "yogurt drops" and was determined that EVERY animal wanted them. She would tell them "NO" and that they were hers. So funny.

Kinda sad knowing that the porkers were heading straight to the butcher shop once they were sold. We were they right before the big auction and the cows were being blow dried and fancied up.

Photo Session with Grandma

Grandma Chris came into town last week and we had a ball. Of course, the camera was pulled out on the last day, but at least a few pictures were taken (not sure how good they are:)

Actually, this is a GREAT photo! Thanks for everything.

The Big Apple

Central Park. She wanted to be near Big Bird and it didn't matter if it wasn't her turn. She kept trying to touch him and bawled when we left.

Farm Day

We went to our daycare's "farm day" a few weeks ago. Can you believe there are camels that live in our mountain town?? She loved them. I'm not sure what she was feeding the big guy, but he would lick her hand and she would laugh and squeal........everyone was quite entertained by her reactions!

K. the camel whisper.  Look at those lips

Hahns Peak Lake Camping

Here is little girl's first "official" time camping. I don't consider camping at our personal camp spot at our house real camping, b/c we always end up at our house!

She loved, loved, loved the tent. She would walk into it & check out the zippers, then walk out and to the truck and back. She did this at least 20 times.

Little Daniel Boone

The campsite was great for biking. We would ride around the camp, down to lake and back. She loves being able to sit in front of me and actually see.

Happy Camper
